Guess what’s on tonight!?

Here’s something I drew real quick (on a bumpy bus ride) to celebrate the end of the semester!
Anyone else feel the same way?
So, a friend of mine went on a rant about how she thinks it’s messed up how supposed Christians go about talking to people who aren’t Christian or don’t go to church.
It got my attention and I began ranting about it on Facebook. Here’s what I had to say:
Christianity doesn’t say, “Go with God, or go to hell.” Being a Christian is about being compassionate, accepting, understanding, giving (without expectation of anything in return) and loving others unconditionally.
“Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.” ~1 John 4:8
I’m sick of seeing these people in the street who claim to profess the word of God but only call people sinners an abominations. We’re all born in to sin. We have free will! That’s what makes life a challenge and it’s how we learn. People need to get a grip on their spirituality and start spreading some love!!
When was the last time someone on the street called you a sinner, claiming they were trying to “save” you? Now, when was the last time you were told by someone, that God and/or Jesus lives you? Can you even answer the las question?
I know I can’t. Not when speaking about strangers.
I feel that, as a Christian, I can spread the word and the love without forcing it down someone’s throat. Mainly because, Jesus didn’t roll like that. He was all about the people. That’s why the Romans didn’t like him. He was a rebel and could’ve been considered a radical! Jesus didn’t waste time pointing fingers and calling names. Jesus spent his time healing the wounds of a society that was being oppressed by people who weren’t supposed to be there in the first place!
You can’t just blindly follow religion/spirituality. That’s how wars happen. People need to learn their history and actually read the bible before hey can just up and say they’re “Christ-like”.
*end of rant*
Last night, my friend, Cory, and I were just minding our own business and walking to the liquor store in North Minneapolis. I happened to see a squad car pass by, and I heard him whip the car around. I joked because he was about to drive the wrong way down a one way street. I told Cory, “Aw, snap!…
what the hell man, that’s so stupid.
Yeah, it was. I’m over it for the most part though. I just can’t stop talking about it. It’s not the first time I’ve been randomly stopped like that for no good reason, but it IS the first time they tried saying myself or anyone around had a gun on us when we didn’t. >_<
dumbass police
Agreed. It’s the reason why people don’t trust them in the first place.
I can’t stop laughing at this! LOL.
A bus driver who tried to rape a passenger at knifepoint chose the wrong victim, a court heard yesterday. The woman, an off-duty US navy sailor, knocked the knife from his grasp, broke it in two, bit his hand, wrestled him to the ground and put him in a stranglehold between her thighs.
Having beaten him into submission, she left the bus and reported the incident to her commander.
she broke a knife in half
“wrestled him to the ground and put him in a stranglehold between her thighs”
She’s not in the Navy, she’s a merchant sailor. STILL SO AWESOME THOUGH <3
